I still don't see a use for this in my class. How would I use this to help kids learn about linearity, patterns, graphs, etc? Other than electronic interaction, what good is it?
For this blog in particular, think of it as a professional development tool -- a place to discuss implementing technology and the research process in your classroom. You may never use blogs with your students, but you can learn a lot about improving teaching in other ways from blogs. And you can help your colleagues by sharing ways you are using technology and/or the research process in the classroom. We can talk about this more at our next MILI meeting, too.
